Repair laptop flickering screen?

Help.

I have an aging Acer laptop which works really well except for a flickering screen. If I hit the body of the laptop it normally stops for a while then comes back again (always when I need it most). I now use a second desktop screen but the problem is a real pain.

Is there anyone out there who can fix a loose wire for me?

Hello Bill.

More likely is the Video cable ,between laptop motherboard and Screen.

Try to connect an external TFT to that laptop, (using the VGA cable) see if still flicker.

If no skills don't open yourself the laptop, you'll distroy it.

Good luck.PcTechPetruSmile

If you never open the laptop before then i would suggest you to not open or try to fix the laptop at your own. Your laptop has to open and then one can fix the wiring. You have to take it to the technician, this is the only solution.
