I know there was an old post about this somewhere.
But I wanted to ask a little more about where to buy and which type of inflatables would you recommend if a small group of people were to plan to ride down the river? :) We are already aware of the general precautions and safety related issues.
We were trying to find something around Geneva, or maybe even to borrow or rent from somewhere or someone. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I would honestly consider going minimslistik: waterproof bag > dump yo stuff in a bag> float down the river, no need for kayaks boats or anything. Unless you need something giant with a bar fridge and all amenities

You can get inflatable rafts in Migros Sports Carouge. There are several models for 2, 3, 4 or event 5 people.
Get a lifejacket as well, better safe than sorry.

Had anyone floated all the way to the hydroelectric dam (Usine electrique Vebois?) I would like to know if it is safe and if there is somewhere to get off.
