Sailing into wind?

Hi. I'm doing some academic research into the physics that explains how boats sail into a wind; based on Newtons laws of motion. Curiously this is still debated. I'd appreciate any feedback from sailors if this fits with what you experience sailing.  See vdieos on: https://buoyancy-explains-flight.com/the-physics-of-sailing/  THANKS !

Hi Geneva family! Does anyone know where I can dry dock a small sailboat in or close to Geneva? So far I haven't had much luck as many places have waiting lists for several years. I'd be grateful for any tips or local knowledge! Thanks!!
