Salary Deductions in Switzerland

I don't understand my salary and find it so weird I get so many deductions. Not sure if I can claim or anything I can do -

I have like my Salary

Then 5 random deductions for insurances I guess

And then another big deduction for Impot a la source

-

And everything gets deducted based on a % of my salary without tax deductions...I get like 2'000CHF taken off me every month

Anyone can help or that normal?

Your company will have, like Wink, a payroll manager who will be able to explain exactly what the deductions are for.

They vary for every individual depending on your salary package, whether or not you're part of a share scheme, whether or not you get a taxable lunch allowance, whether or not you have a company car..... stuff like that.

If you don't have a payroll manager "in-house" then your company will have outsourced it to an external company who are obliged to visit you at your place of work, to explain the tax deductions/your payslip.

Hope that helps.
