Doest any know for sure if I really have to wait for the work permit to be issued before the employer release the salary in to my account?
Are there any basis for them to insist on the work permit? or an application form or a letter from cantonal office giving evidence that my work permit is being processed is sufficient?
does anyone had any simialr experience?

Yes, they absolutely have to. It is a really difficult thing.
The new law is persecuting the "black" payment issuers.
But do you know that there's is also a "expecting" visa or something like that (though you need to pay 35 CHF)?
Helena.

I don't still understand how they expect us to work while work permit application is being processed but not pay. I think visa is not an issue here for brit's.
