Just returned from 4 days in this absolutely magical little city. Cannot recommend it too highly. Gratifying that in this secular day and age, there are still thousands and thousands of pilgrims/visitors - many of them having walked or cycled the various routes through France and over the Pyrenees. We had a wonderful time there.

I happened to be there last week too - for a wedding in La Coruna.. Santiago is a lovely town.. friendly people, great food - likewise Coruna.. only thing I have a problem with is the infrastructure to and from Santiago Airport.

Funny that, as it took us only 20 minutes, the airport bus went direct into the city and we had no problems at all. Wonder what was the difficulty with the infrastructure that you had?
