Save World Radio Switzerland petition

Hi y'all,

It would be great to have as many signers as possible for this petition to convince the powers that be not to pull the plug on this valuable service.  You can add your voice at: http://www.savewrs.com/sign-the-petition/

Thanks,

Tony

What valuable service?   Providing traffic and weather information in the rush hour to some overpampered expats?

Why should the Swiss taxpayer fund this third rate service?

It makes these two look  like quality radiio presenters...

Why don't you two guys take a walk? It's a lovely drizzle.

Meanwhile, I'll tune in to a local radio, which speaks the universal (business) language newcomers understand immediately. Sure, learn one of the country's official languages, too.

I filled it out yesterday, because I listen to WRS occasionally myself and I think it provides service that many English speakers in the region will appreciate.

But I am disgusted that by signing I apparently automatically signed up to an e-mail list, and I have already received 2 messages urging me to tell my friends about the petition. Sure I can cancel the mailing list, but this is not how you reward people who try to support you.
