I can't believe it's real super powers.I don't believe such super-natural powers exists.

Until science proves otherwise, I won't believe it.

They apparently don't care about proving themselves right, so they tell sceptics to check their track record. They also claim that they don't use the power to make themselves rich otherwise they would lose their abilities e.g in gambling, contests, etc. They claim they were sent to help people...

@Charlie, everyone can read your mind..you always come up with a jokeLaughing

It's not about the money but scientific evidence. To this day there has been no one that has ever won the Randy Prize because everytime someone claiming they had some kind of mystical powers, they were investigated thoroughly and found out to be a fraud.

This is fact. I am certainly not saying things like that do not exist, but I need to see hard evidence for such a case. In the case of twins there are some mysterious links for sure,  but I am always a bit weary when I see words such as 'psychic' and 'medium' ....

And besides they could try to win the Randy prize and give it all to charity Wink

Interesting. there so many things we don't know and that we can't apprehend

I believe science can't prove everything

...for the moment.

It took me a few seconds on Google to find this:

While being interviewed on the Art Bell radio show (Coast to Coast A.M.) on November 2, 1999, The Psychic Twins predicted that there would be a terrorist attack on the federal government and the World Trade Centerin 2002. The actual quote is, "We are seeing terrorist attacks on federal government – excuse me, federal buildings. Particularly South Carolina or Georgia, by July 2002. And also the New York Trade Center – the World Trade Center in 2002, with something, with a terrorist attack." While the predicted date was incorrect (as the terrorist attacks actually occurred on September 11, 2001), the sisters have used this statement to claim (as seen on the opening page of their Web site)...

Seems that they got the target right (lucky?, but also mentioned other targets that were unaffected, and they got the date wrong. I wonder how many such predictions they have made that didn't come true.

In December 2003, they incorrectly predicted that Saddam Hussein would be killed by U.S troops in early 2004 (he was actually executed after a trial in 2006), and that Pope John Paul II would die in June 2004 (he actually died in April 2005). They also incorrectly predicted that the Bush/Gore 2000 presidential election would be a "crashing bore" (it was actually one of the closest and most controversial in history, requiring vote recounts and a Supreme Court intervention), and that actress Jennifer Lopez would announce that she was pregnant by 2004, or June 2005 (she did not become pregnant until November 2007).

It seems like what they're really doing is postdict, which is a lot easier.

As to what they do in their shows, it's called cold reading. This video by Richard Dawkins and Derren Brown explains how it's done.

If the interview video is too long, have a look at this. Derren Brown can tell people's professions when he meets them on the street.

I know most of them use ambiguity and vagueness in whatever they say or read but this stuff can't be made up:

A lot of so-called psychics ask audience members to fill in small questionnaires before the show, asking mainly what they want out of the show. I imagine that the first guy or his mum wrote something like: 'hear from my brother who was killed'.

The psychic may even be fed information through the ear plug (this one is wearing one in her left ear). A quick Google search of the guy's name and address will probably get the police report of the brother's death.

As simple as that.

Total load of rubbish .. It's all suggestion, manipulation and vague answers that "believers and vulnerable people" will latch on to.

Look up "cold reading" . Sure it's a skill to be learned and many of the people do it really well and make a fortune from weak people (ducks for cover).. But psycic - no way.
