If you know someone who works at CERN, there are always a lot for sale on the internal market boards (lots of people always coming and going from the area) so they could forward you the adverts.
There is a car dealer in Gex (no idea if they are any good though).

Hi,
No need to go to France to get a good car! I'm selling my peugeot 207 (c 45'000km) for only Fr. 7'500. You can check out the advert in the "Classified > Goods for sale" section for glocals under ""Peugeot 207 1.4 Urban 5 door"
Buying in France seems like the easy / cheap option but then you need to comply wiht all th administrative things which can be costly and time consuming! In this case, you save yourself the trouble, for a price that is in-line with what you'd get abroad.
Let me know if you are interested! Thanks,
Thibault
