Seeking trustworthy moving company in the US to bring stuff here

Hey there folks,
I'm wondering if anybody has a suggestion for a trustworthy moving company in the US. I'm trying to move a bunch of boxes of books and records over here. I've been looking around, and they all seem quite shady. So a good reference would be much appreciated - along with any tips for what not to do, red flags, etc.

I like Schumacher Cargo & Logistics (we were in NY the two times we used them and I believe that that is where they are based). My husband and I both had small shipments of two studio apartments, so we chose the shared container option. Mine was packed up in Dec 2019 and arrived in April 2020, and his was collected in April 2024 and delivered in August.
The contact I had was awesome, flawless communication and so easy once I found them (I know what you mean about so many seeming shady), but my husband had a rougher time with communication (the person went on parental leave mid-time frame, which could explain this, but there's no excuse for not properly handing over your cases). In the end, everything worked out. In both cases, nothing was even scratched or broken.

I was looking into them, actually, but they had such bad reviews, I was put off.
