Is anyone aware whether any self service car garages exist in or near to Geneva? I want to do some DIY maintenance around the engine (replacing parts, not changing oil or anything else that could be harmful to the environment). I read that it is illegal to carry out your own maintenance in a public space including on the parking outside your flat for example.

Would appreciate any info.
