I thought I'd share this, because it's amazing and takes zero effort to make. Clarines cheese is from just across the border in France, and is sold in a small wooden box that is great for presentation.
What you need (per portion): 1 Clarines cheese (~250 g), 1 large garlic clove, ~ 50-100 ml red or white wine (depending on your taste), and a few sprigs of fresh thyme.
1. Take the lid off the wooden box, but leave the cheese inside.
2. Cut a large garlic clove into 5 pieces. Pour boiling water over them to soften their flavor.
3. Cut 5 small holes into the cheese and push in the garlic segments. Distribute the holes evenly over the surface (e.g. one in the middle, the others along the edges)
4. Put 3-4 sprigs of thyme on top
5. Pour the wine over the thyme and cheese into the box. Give it time to soak in, and if necessary cut a few holes. Stop when the cheese seems saturated, don't let it spill over.
6. Put it onto an oven-proof tray (since some of the wine may seep out) and put it into the oven: 180 degrees, 30 minutes. It shouldn't catch fire but you want to keep an eye on it anyway.
Serve it with lots of bread cut into slices. Dip your bread into the cheese and eat it like a cheese fondue. The crust has a lot of flavor but feel free to push it aside (along with the thyme) if you prefer; the melted cheese is just below it.
