Is there anywhere in Geneva a possibility to study in silence like at University at the library? I am not a student at the university.

Yes, the University of Geneva has quite a few locations where you can study, no need to be a member unless you want to borrow books. My personal favourite location is in te PArc des Bastions. they are open till 10.00 in the evening weekdays and I think till 1700 on Saturday. They also have wifi and one is not allowed to talk. Public libraries are usually a good place if you want to study.
