You confess and the others will tell you if it's:
1) pretty normal, i.e. I would have done the same
2) hopefully not premeditated, i.e. I would never have done that, but oh well.
3) just awful! No wonder you have a chicken for your picture, I'd hide too.
I'll start: I decided NOT to be home when some unwanted guests were meant to arrive (for a week, on their way back from vacations, with dirty laundry and very tired children...).

And quite into Science, especially experiments, I must have been about 9/10 years old, and was bathing my baby sister (she was about 2) and I thought how would she react to different temperatures of water, warm, not much, slightly cold- not much, so then I took the experiment to the next level, ran the hot tap and filled a jug full of very hot water, and ran the cold tap and filled a jug full of very cold water, first poured the jug of hot water over her back, and then the jug of very cold water.
Needless to say she screamed blue murder and my Mum came running and tried to drown me in the bathtub, she was a little pissed.
So ahem, that was probably the meanist thing I ever done, apart from causing my sisters to be arachnaphobic!!!
I was such an adorable little angel.

That's a 1.
You weren't mean, just curious, as you said.
When your sister screamed, I imagine you came to the conclusion that the experiment was a bit dangerous.

There's several really mean things I did and which I can't admit in public cos there really are too mean...but here's a light weight one, that's actually amusing.
When I was a teen age boy, one of my favourite games was to try to see if i could push the head of my little brother (who grew up to be the mighty GoL site-admin!) back into his neck. This might explain his current looks.
I now do the same on my little boy, to the horror of my girlfriend.

Trying to fit him into a suitcase to save money on plane-seats?
Stunting his growth so that as men, he would be referred to as "the short one"?
You figured he wasn't using his head anyway, so it should be tidied away?
Or was he just that ugly?
What's Oded got to say about this sweet little childhood souvenir, I wonder....

Now I think of it I was pretty mean to my little brother , once i got him to try to fit into my fathers army kit bag , then clipped it shut , carried outside (he's 5 years younger) then turned a tap on the bag and told him he was in a river. Other times it's ended in a trip to the hospital as I've used him as a stunt tester , we would throw ourselves off the roof to land on a mattress and somehow he always came off worse. He makes up for it now by sending my kids really noisy toys for xmas or birthday

Once, when I was a teenager, I had to take care of this 4 year old girl and it was cool. But then I remembered that there was a b-horror movie playing on tv that I wanted to see. I told the kid that we were going to see a film and she was probably expecting some disney cartoon.
It happened that the film was too B and full of blood, decapitated vampires and stuff like that. 15 minutes after the film started, the little girl was completely shocked, trembling and crying. I still fell very terrible about this as she is probably a Marylin Manson fan nowadays...

...drooling and repeating your name.
But don't feel too bad.
A few therapy sessions should rid you of the horrible guilt for such a shocking deed.

If you had 11 kids, it's more than likely that the ones in the middle (too young to babysit, too old to be cute) would cause a lot of trouble, just for attention.
My brother Paul Vincent and I proudly fulfilled this role as 5th and 6th siblings.
Amongst the mean things we did was trying to get little Philippe to do bad stuff and hopefully he'd get spanked for it. That was sure entertaining. And he always walked right into it.
In Texas (this little place we lived for a few years, you wouldn't have heard about it), my parents tried air-conditioning and found it good. On the other hand, they found it bad when whippersnappers (kids) were running in and out the door, thus wasting all the precious cool air Dad wanted to enjoy whilst watching the football game. So eventually he'd tell us to stay in the yard (definitely a yard, not a garden) while he stayed inside.
All this seemed important to him, but to Paul Vincent and me, it just seemed like another excuse not to give us the attention we deserved so we revolted and killed two birds with one stone. We called little Philippe over and pointed out how poor Daddy could barely watch the football on account of all the flies. We even made a fake argument as to who would swat Daddy's head the most and the hardest to free him of the flies, thus earning paternal gratitude.
While we fought, little Philippe "cleverly" took the fly-swatter and crept into the cool living room where Daddy sat peacefully drinking his ice-tea and snarling at the coaches. Although there were no flies in the room and although Daddy didn't seem in the least bit worried about the possibility of any arriving on the next Greyhound, little Philippe was convinced that "poor Daddy was being infested" because we were very convincing and descriptive and also because, well, little Philippe was a gullible sucker let's face it.
So in marches our Quichotic hero and "Wack! Wack! Wack!" went the flyswatter on Daddy's head, in spite of his protesting roars.
There are some childhood spankings you just ENJOY! Those of your siblings.
