Solution for getting rid of unwanted commercial text messages

Hi all,

I guess most of you would already know this, but I only found out about it today, and thought I'd share this information in case anyone else is suffering from this problem.

This applies to Swisscom mobile phones, but I believe it is also applicable for other providers.

I have a pre-paid Swisscom mobile number (will be given to select cute female repliers to this thread. Just kidding).

As soon as I got it I started getting bombarded with unwanted text messages and content from a mysterious 3 digit number. It appers as if it also ate up my pre-paid amount, as I was paying for this service I never asked for.

I found out today that sending the message:

STOP ALL

To said number, blocks it from sending you messages ever again.

An additional nice tool is this link from Swisscom, which enables you to find out who is behind these mysterious 3 digit numbers that send you unwanted stuff:

http://www.swisscom-mobile.ch/scm/p_prv_kurznummern_und_anbieter-en.aspx

Good luck and I hope you find this information helpful!
