Hi to everyone!!! I am new here and I joined glocals because in less than a year i hope to be in Geneva for my Msc. I want to obtain the MA in International commodity trading,finance and shipping! I am pretty sure that the GVA university will accept me since I have all the qualifications needed, but in order to be finally accepted you have to find (either by yourself or with the university's career service- but the most of the times on your own) an internship, a company to hire you as an intern for a part time position.... Now is the critical question!> Who can someone foreigner find an internship from distance? Do you believe that door to door job search would be more effective(for example to travel to Geneva for 2 weeks in order to search for a job?)? And finally do any of you have any acquaintances working in trading sector so as to advice me? Thank you in advance!!!

I have made a list of 40 trading companies just from personal searching and I have the top 10 companies that I would like to work but a list from GTSA with more possible employers would be perfect. Thank you!!! Reka are you in the trading sector? Do you think that it's easy to ensure an internship in a trading company or shipping company? After some discussions I had with graduates from my University, told me that this is the difficult part of the master...to obtain the internship...!!!
