Hi,
I've just moved to Geneva and I'm used to having a sourdough starter and making my own bread but not I don't ahve the starter. Does anyone have a starter who would be prepared to give up a little bit to a new arrival?
Thanks,
Tris.

Sorry about the typos. Also, I meant to post this in the Geneva section.

You can make your own starter by catching the wild yeast in the air. You need whole wheat flour, warm water and time.
I made my own starter a few years ago and here's a site with good instructions:
Good luck!

Thanks! That didn't make it sound hard at all.
I had heard that you needed to do more complicated stuff at the start to make sure you get the right bacteria, but if this works it sounds very easy.
