Speeding tickets and children interpretation

A police officer found a perfect hiding place for watching for speeding motorists.

One day, the officer was amazed when everyone was under the speed limit, so he investigated and found the problem.

A 10-year-old girl was standing on the side of the road with a large hand-written sign reading “SPEED TRAP AHEAD.”

A little more investigative work led the officer to the girl’s accomplice - a boy about 100 yards beyond the radar trap with a sign reading “TIPS” and a bucket at his feet full of change.

161 instead of 110 is quite high...  Either you find the proof of a faulty speed camera (i.e. No signature nor name for whoever was suPposed To check the speed camera on said date), take a French lawyer (depending on what they want to prosecute you for, it could be worth taking a specialised lawyer, it could save you time, energy, money and stress).

45 days is not bad taking into account the speed you got caught at!  I would have thought they would have taken your drivers licence for at least 3 months and you don't even loose points (foreigners drivers licence)! (There are 12 points on each licence).
