Sprüngli Luxemburgerli in Geneva?

I've just returned from a weekend trip to Zurich, which included a compulsory stop at the Sprüngli shop on the Bahnhofstrasse, and have enjoyed every morsel of the 42% milk chocolate bar with roasted hazelnuts that I came back with.

I've since found out that their must-try item is the 'luxemburgerli', the smaller (but apparently incomparable) cousin of the macaroon.

Does anyone know of a Geneva stockist of Sprüngli's luxemburgerli?

In Geneva you can find the "Macarons" which are almost the same!!!

You can find them in Ladurée à Rive...they're good as well, but I personally prefer the luxemburgerli :-)

When I first tasted Luxemburgerli, I was very touched that such a divine product refers to the place where I partially come from. I have never come accross them in Luxembourg.

Shai, if you do find them here in Geneva, please let me know!  :-)

so, what's the difference between macarons and luxemburgerli then, apart from the size? i've tasted them both and was convinced they were the same thing but with a french and a swiss german name...

in any case, they're both amazingly tasty little things and i wish i had some right now (although it's probably a good thing i don't since it's the middle of the night)!

A competitor, straight outta Paris, opened up here in ZH recently:

http://www.laduree.fr/public_en/maisons/zurich_accueil.htm

Apparently their macarons are like 19 999 CHF each or something like that. The Luxembergerli got 'best in test' in the comparisons I saw in a newspaper here though.

Thanks for all the replies guys, but 'I still haven't found what I'm looking for'..

And70, Sprungli do retail online as well but shipping costs would make it prohibitive for anything other than bulk orders.

Rich, this place sounds promising (not so much in terms of price though), I'll have to check it out, they have a Geneva outlet too in Rive: http://www.laduree.fr/public_en/maisons/geneve_accueil.htm
