to put up a new post on glocals in the hope that nobody would hijack it and turn into something which had nothing to do with the original post. unfortunately for her, little did she know that

Penelope was shocked! (dah...) How dare you she said! She grabbed her coat and went out almost colliding with...

a small dwarf dressed in a Santa outfit... smiling , he looked at her and said ..

a politically-correct, somewhat self-righteous, slightly embitted black American woman who was laughing out loud as Charlie yelled, "I was talking about the weather!"  Just  then,

Penelope had had enough of cheap ass pickup lines so gave him a quick slap and ran off leaving behind one of her slippers. The guiness drinking irishman picked up the slipper after her, took one whiff of the pungent odour and thought

..come back in here and accept the Jaeger bombs that Charlie had lined up on the bar, in the hope that getting her drunk would help him in his quest to remove...

go dancing and take the 1st one in the morning, otherwise ...

..some transvestite discoteque in deepest Paquis.. however after not recieving one offer single of a carriage ride home, and seeing too many ugly sisters dancing to George Micheal songs, ,  she had felt strangely drawn back to Mulligans where Charlie and his rebellious gang had just gotten into the flow of the party... as she pushed through the deep lines of honies all drooling over Charlies wit she saw... 

... him for the philandering rogue that he undoubtedly would like to be.

The cold night air and the absence of adequate footwear had sharpened her senses and she was quickly able to locate the maloderously absent slipper. 

The beautiful princess hastily replaced the slightly beer-stained slipper on her slender but rather sore foot before........  

stomping out of the bar, and going in search for a more interesting evening, whilst walking down the street she saw...

a small leprichaun quietly smoking his pipe... "wierd" she thought to herself... and carried on, determined to find....

A shoe store that would still be open. It was a futile search, as all the store employees had decided to go to Mulligans for drinks. Fortunately for her, help unexpectedly came when she was wandering the streets and ran into...

the window of the shoe store, so dazed was she , that when she turned she saw an amazing sight in front of her, and ...

on my way to mulligans in search of honies i'd heard of. speaking of honies you look quite .. 

just window shopping when i found myself falling into this gaping hole.. id  run away from slowy she remebered the events leading up to the fall..ther pervert in the bar ... the small leprechaun...  and there was something else drifting vaguely in the back of her mind.. what was it? , she struggled to remeber, what was it someone had said to her .. she coudnt quite grasp the words.. which was unusual for her ... she sat down , for a moment and watched as the incredible hulk slowly ....

pulled a giant feather from his back pocket....she gasped....

then smiled ..then giggled... she thought to herself i love feathers really

and what a beautiful big hands this Hulk has, I just wonder why he looks so green, do I make him feel sick?

Just at that moment, she realized she had forgotten to remove her beer goggles!  No wonder everyone looked like 3-d cartoon characters.... At last, she thought, now I can...

...a TV showing "Later with Jools Holland". Jools and his guests and his audience are counting down from 10 and have reached 3. The woman thinks "Jeez this guy has a strange voice. I wonder what happens when they reach zero".

Then they did, and, something unimaginably strange happened....

...the audience gets up....and starts walking out of the tv set into Mulligans.....the Hulk, gets closer to the girl, and strokes her arm with his feather...."I just wanted to...."

But then Superwoman files in and hits the Hulk --- oops upside the head!  She was waiting for him to bring the groceries home.  Her super-hearing tuned into the Hulk and as usual, he was indulging his feather fetish....

So, she turned to Charlie and said,

Charlie, slightly nonplussed, but nevertheless game for a party (as usual) said...

Charlie smiled wryly, and tapped his nose... he wasnt going to say... so he turned, and knowing that the invisible man was lurking in the corner...

Penelope, during this distraction,  suddenly noticed that she felt something slowly beginning to touch her left...

to get off the drugs. She swore to herself that "from now on my life will be about ..

to wake up from this nightmare....

"from now on my life will be about counting jelly beans, listening to loud music and collecting feathers"....She rather liked the feeling that Hulk's feather had on her arm.....Suddenly, there was a huge blast coming from the kitchen.....

the microwave had exploded ...she had forgotten about the popcorn....

...Then she decides to cook tapas, when suddenly...

she woke from the dream....  and smiles softly at the thought of the feather...

....when she decides to call it a day....she suddenly felt very tired.....As she left the pub, she walks to the corner of the street and picks up a folded piece of paper that the wind blew her way.  As she unfolds the paper, she reads...

this is the new year, time to let the old year out and the new year in, be at peace with yourself, and follow your heart.... she pondered the ote and wondered who had written it .. then as she sat there , a vision appeared, it seemed to ....

To ..... bar, where the Irish prince played with the big ball hanging from the cieling, the ball fell on Princess head and killed her. Her last words were : Should have gone to the stable with my pumpkin.

... But luckly she was just pretending. As soon as the vision vanished as mysteriosly as it had appeared, she got up, checked herself in the mirror and then yelled from the bottom of her lungs: "Taaaaxiiiiii!"...

 ..but it was in vein, since it was new years eve, and all taxi drivers were drunk....

allthough veins taxi drivers are notorious for getting drunk, there was a solitary cab driving slowly past, inside the dirver dark and mysterious, slowly eased off on the pedal, and slowed down to look at the vision of beauty who had just waved him down, pondering he thought , should i shouldnt i ?

and then he wound down the window...and in the best English he could muster he uttered the sublime words

"Minicab? Joo wan a MiniCab? Wer joo go? 200 francs..minicab!".....

His furry dice rocked slowly, and the multicoloured bulbs of christmas lights glowed around his windscreen... it was a vision.

So she....

smiled, stepped forward to the taxi cab, thought to herself charlie is rich enough he can afford the fare.. as she opened the door, the gentle sound of a soft french lullaby reached her ears.. she smiled again at a distant memory .. and slid into the warmth of the taxi.. the door closed, and the automatic lock sealed the door... the taxi driver looked over his hsoulder a sinister smile on his face and asked 'where to madame'.......

"Take me anywhere" she said. "As long as i can continue drinking until the early hours of the morning"

The taxi driver knew just the place. Through narrow winding roads they went until they pulled out of...
