Street dancing: got to see it to believe it

There's a branch of Jews who believe being happy and bringing happiness to others is God's wish. So they drive around Israel in big trucks while blasting techno music, and when they hit a red light they all pile out, have a dance, and then leave again. I love it!

The guy wearing the Israeli flag as a superman cape (around the 40 second mark) is just a passerby. I guess it was a crazy night in Tel-Aviv on that evening...

You know what, as I was watching their video I was thinking how fun it would be to do the same in Geneva. Drive around with a truck blasting music, and dance in the street during red lights. In Israel people smile at it and join the fun, here I'm afraid the police might be called in...(-:

The company that makes it happen in Geneva will get my business, even if they sell hair products. And they're sure to get a ton of local PR. But also a ton of what some people call "The Swiss Look": these looks of disapproval that one can often get in the street here if one does anything out of the ordinary...(-:

You are probably right, although I have seen Genevois having fun dancing (shh, don't tell!) at la Fête de la Musique -- not to be confused with the Fêtes de Genève...

There was also a flash mob pillow fight at Place du Rhône last year...
