The Swiss post office said on Thursday that it would be repeating its annual service to respond to the thousands of letters addressed to Father Christmas and Baby Jesus received from kids throughout the country every year.
Last year, Le Poste replied to some 15,000 letters, addressed to characters and places such as "Santa Claus, the North Pole" or "Little Jesus in Heaven".
Six staff have been commissioned to handle the influx which is redirected to an office in Chiasso.
Post office responses include a letter and small gift provided the sender includes a return address. Thus was the case for 96 percent of letters received last year, officials said.
