Tax Advice

Hi All,

Ive been in Geneva for 2 years and originally from the UK. Recently my consultancy firm got a tax refund from the UK HMRC and told me I have to pay it to them, as they have been paying tax for me too whilst in Switzerland. I have seen the documents and there they put my salary in CHF higher then it actually is. When I queried this, they said it was because they pay for my appartment, which is correct.

Is this increased salary amount normal for tax returns in GVA? Is the apartment treated as a taxable benefit in Geneva?

Any advice is appreciated.
