Tennis in GE/VD

Hello! I am looking for tennis players/people who want to play tennis in Geneva/Vaud area. My friend wants to know more about and he made a survey about it. It is only 6 questions and it takes 2 minutes to do it, can you help him please?

Hi, I run a small expat 'club' of mainly guys at an level 6 strong level.

We play mainly doubles in the winter ascourts are not easily available.

I rent the courts for the winter and members share costs.

It's initially difficult to determine the strength of members .

Is your husband a recent beginner? How much experience does he have? Has he been formally trained? Is he fit?

We range from ages 65 to late 30's and all are very fit. Not all had formal training but through a lot of play became experienced. Level 7 is generall an strong intermediate player while level 6 is useually for experienced and /or very regular players. Level 5 is a strong competative level playing tournaments and very few level 6 players can play at this level.

At the moment we have 2 hours indoors on a great simulated clay court in Vernier on Sundays from 12h00 to 14h00

In the summer I run a bigger club and it includes beginners, intermediate and advanced sections.

Eventually we all know how the other play and can match players.

As we are all international expats with some locals, there are a lot of travelling and moving so the numbers go up and down all the time.

The club has been running for 3 years.

Please direct and inquiries to: [email protected]
