I use the chat system quite frequently and, for the first time, clicked on the Video tab it has. 400 pages of Beatles video clips?
Does anyone use this Video tab?
What's the point?

Some gimmick trial forgotten by the website developers... Useless.
It's a useless thing indeed. We will kill it at the next round of upgrades. Thanks for the flagging.

Hi Guys
Good question David.
It doesn't work .. Reason:
it is a 'push' from the 90's. Today user generated content is king as this site and YouTube etc prove it.
How can the video tab work?
If usre profiles allow a section for links to their favourite videos (links not vid storage so no extra server load), the most recent additions can be listed in the video tab on the home page (possibly near the top next to the events) just like the most recent member events. There could be a small section for the ones with the most 'thanks' to keep them displayed longer.
And 'that' is different because it involves user input and not pushed to them. You cna imagine a video guide to Geneva, video guide to the various importamt offices (work permits, office des poursuites etc) would be ever green and of course ever-useful, with many 'thanks'.
