Hilarious but sad. A reflection of poor education, indoctrination by state, school, media (the presstitutes) and intellectuals/pundits. I read the identical sort of nonsensical idiot realism in the comments section of the Canadian broadcasting Corporation website (CBC.ca) on any subject remotely relating to Islam or the Muslim world. Although the commentators are not necessarily a representative sample of Canadian public opinion and with Canada's commitment to the military intervention in Libya many are voicing negative sentiments. Many are also asking what the hell are we doing in Afghanistan when our economy is losing manufacturing jobs and median wages over the last few decades have stagnated and the gap between rich and poor increases. I have also spoken to working class Brits who know exactly what’s going on an who is to blame.

1980 to 2005
• Median earnings of Canadians employed on a full-time basis for a full year changed little during the past quarter century, edging up from $41,348 in 1980 to $41,401 in 2005 (in 2005 constant dollars).
• Earnings of full-time full year earners rose for those at the top of the earnings distribution, stagnated for those in the middle and declined for those at the bottom.
• The more rapid growth at the top of the earnings distribution has led to an increase in the proportion of high earners over the past quarter century. In 1980, 3.4% of full-time full-year earners received $100,000 or more. By 2005, this proportion had almost doubled to 6.5%. Likewise, about 2.2% of full-time full-year earners received $150,000 or more in 2005, up from 1.0% in 1980.
When you have high unemploymment and much time on your hands with bleak prospects for employment it is easy to get frustrated and angry and seek a weak scapegoat especially when Labour, Lib-Dems and Conservatives in a subtle way hint that Muslims need to better integrate and control their own communities in Britain. They all love the multiculturalism and Muslim community and in fact I'm sure many would say 'some of my best friends are Muslims'.

Two-thirds of the nation’s total income gains from 2002 to 2007 flowed to the top 1 percent of U.S. households, and that top 1 percent held a larger share of income in 2007 than at any time since 1928, according to an analysis of newly released IRS data by economists Thomas Piketty and Emmanuel Saez. Blame public sector workers, unions, old age pensioners for state budget shortfalls and a stagnating economy – see Wisconsin!
