The Pied Piper of Plainpalais...anyone in Geneva know how to play the uileann pipes?

Hi - I managed to procure a set of practice pipes during a recent visit home to Ireland & am now trying to teach myself to play without much success (and probably much to the anoyance of my elderly neighbours....) I am having a lot of trouble covering all the keyholes on the chanter (despite my long fingers!)

Apparently there is a pipers' club up in Schaffhausen in Northern Switzerland, but as that's a little far to travel for lessons, I was wondering if anyone in Geneva might know how to play and be able to give me some pointers?

Thanks,

E.

You might want to ask at the Geneva Music Conservatory in Place Neuve. Perhaps ask in the wind instruments department.Smile
