On Monday night in New York City, Dita Von Teese modeled what was announced as "the world's first 3D-printed dress"... Who's thankful for science?

THe 3D-Printer for sure and Dita Von Teese. As to the guys we feel sorry we were not part of the short listed winners who helped her fit the dress on.

Not the first 3D printed dress, but still definitely worth posting.

Only because it's blocking the view.
I can't imagine it'll take off... (Probably because it'll be so hard to take off)!

We confess. We first stare at the dress but then like *human* designers we look at details. You know men always want to know how it is assembled.
@Andrew: I can't imagine it is made out of resin. Should the dress be made with dark chocolate (not from Ikea!) I volunteer to eat it all up and I tell you all, about the undercover thing.

I went blind, too, but it wasn't from squinting.
The dark side of 3D printing :

It does not say clearly if the 3D printed guns hurt though (or I'm blind).

Best use you say, well this might be not bad
Seems like the dress is not the only thing in 3D that has been made by a machine...
