So...as the time draws nearer for our departure I looked at the awful carpets in our house and realize they look worse than ever. Do any of you kind glocalers (or is it just glocals?) know of a good (and cheap) carpet cleaning service in Geneva? Any reccomendations would be highly appreciated.

If I were you, I would put them in the back of your car and bring them to the Cora shopping centre in Amphion. there is a very helpful and reasonably priced chap with his own dry cleaning set=up. Alternatively, he also hires out machines which you can use to clean the carpets yourself. PM me if you need further information

Hey Sheila, I sent you a PM. Like I said I have installed carpeting, not rugs :-(.
So...anyone...anyone out there who can provide some guidance? Does anyone know where I can rent a carpet cleaning machine from perhaps?
