Tolerance -aspects of tolerance from here to there

Facebook refuses to delete a group that calls for a third Intifada in Israel

The logo is a fist in the colors of the palestinian flag

there are 308,000 fans to this site.

The president of the ADL-the Antidefamation league- Edward Fox filed a complaint against this group that clearly calls for a violent uprising as it calls to build on the first and second Intifada.

Edward Fox claim is backed by the recent events ; a murder of a family  of Jewish settlers living in the Palestinian territories , a bomb in Jerusalem and constant rocket attack in southern Israel where school have been closed and people live in bunkers.

The group reacted by threatening that Moslems world wide will boycott facebook should this group calling for a violent uprising be deleted.

The group does not officially call for a violent uprising but it supports a continuation of previous uprising which ended up in more violence .

Meanwhile

The allies are bombing Libya-should the allies intervene in Libya ? Should the allies ignore the Moslem protesting against this action as an intervention in their land?

In Syria the military opens fire on demonstraters killing scores

Also to say in www.haaretz.com

there is an interview with the brother of the murdered Jewish settlers and he says some interesting words about how he sees the future and his great wish for more tolerance and acceptance.

www.haaretz also reports today of a Norweigian lawmaker, a parliment member who denies the holocaust ever existed in a public statement,

his labor party did not kick him out (yet)

Interesting to note the man wrote on facebook that "if not accepting lies means i am an antisemite than that is what i am "

what really gets my goat is that he wrote this on FACEBOOK; founded by a Jew

whose ancestors most probobly were affected by the holocaust

why did he not deny facebook  ever existed ?

Its the same thing as people who claim to boycott Israel and yet still use products and mechanisms created by Israelis. *eye roll*

I saw an interview on ynet the other day which interviewed the 12 year old daugher of the Itamar massacre. I have to admit, I wasn't crazy about it. She sounded like many of the orthodox jews I know in Israel that never question their beliefs or the politics of Israel.

Anyway, as for the facebook 3rd intifada posting - have you reported it yet? I posted that link a while back and I know many of my friends have reported it and reposted. Might be helpful.

hi Ariel

If you want to boycott Israeli products, the list is long and includs any computer almost that has anti virus etc

I did not read the interview with the child, but lets have some sympathy here, her parents and siblings were brutally massacred while she was away and if you read her uncle's interview on www.haaretz you can see the wide spectrum of opinions even within that population segment, there is diversity which is so sadly missed in other cultures , in my humble opinion , who sharply criticise and demonise israel, there is a huge spectrum , mostly tending towards peaceful solutions, as far as statistics show.

I am no longer on facebook, one reason is that glocals takes up enough of my time and other is that sort of thing

on the one hand it is used by people to do good things but it has misuse

i know people who had relationships ended on facebook etc etc

but i find it ironic that the extreme Moslems use it to call for a jihad

but then again with extremists the ends justify the means

Sadly facebook does not have as good administration as glocals

Wink

why were there Nazis?

Woody Allen tries to answer

his father in the film has the best answer i have ever heard

"how the hell should i know? i dont even know how a can opener works"

i would answer that Nazis were cowards without no real values of human love

and appreciation for life's great gifts and beauty but that would be overdoing it and probobly people would claim it is an "emotional " reaction

so here is woody

yes, all you need is love

the Beatles , a British band sings

if only we could all hear that , including myself

every minute of the day and listen to the words

and live them
