OK I am surrounded by Cape Verdans this Xmas and by past experience this means a load of their music - think Portuguese calypso with an African twist. It's hardly got a very Christmas feel to it - so I want to try to get a few Christmas songs in the mix through out the day.
I have a my own top ten list of songs that make me think of Christmas and like most good Christmas traditions they are fairly kitsch or cheesy but what the hell it's one day of the year.
This year I am thinking of try to pass it off as cultural... that will appeal to the mums so where ever your from add your list, whatever the language.
