Am organising a trip to London in March/April for two friends who have never been to London. Can anyone give me some ideas on places to visit, restaurants, exhibiitions, markets etc? Any suggestions on hotels, i.e. 4* hotels without the hefty price tag that usually accompanies London hotels!

I was there last weekend stayed at the Premier Inn Victori. The prices are considered reasonable compared to London prices. Very central locatio well connected with public transportation and to airplet's. Book directly through their site. Google the top things to do and be prepared for the long queues, better to book in advance. The hop on hop off buses is anot option to see London in 48 hrs. If you are into theatre and ABBA then MaMa Mia showing in Novello theatre is a must see. Shops are open until late at night and on Sundays, very lively at nigh. It is a great city with endless things to do yet as expensive as Geneva. Enjoy.
