Ok, Vlad, let's put aside Causistik's humor and my sarcasm.Trump is indeed a serious challenge to the whole of humanity and I am probably more upset than you because I have family in the US who will suffer the consequences.
If I embraced your mindset, I would say that "Americans" (lumping together 300 million people) have had a lot to be ashamed for for a long time, from slavery, racial oppression (blacks did not get the right to vote until 1965), being the world's largest polluters, wars of aggression, you name it. Having lived there for a number of years, I personally suffered a lot of indignities because of my background, even though I was a successful scientist, Professor at a distinguished University, etc. So it would be easy to give in to my emotions and lash out against "Americans."
But that would be adopting the attitude in which all those actions, culture and politics are rooted: breaking up humanity into groups along national or racial lines and demeaning the "others."
That, is what is shameful. We have to resist that instinctive response, hold on to our principles, put together a firm, organized resistance, not just in the US, but across the world.
Michael Moore is a wonderful human being, who happens to have been born and lives in the US. Here is his proposal:

We are facing a global problem, as, in spite of great technological advancements and enormous potential, a minority has amassed enormous wealth, monopolized the institutions of power and alienated the majorities. In a vaccum of leadership able to address those problems, people who are angry enough, will lash out in anger and support, to their own detriment, dangerous figures and policies. There is indeed no excuse for millons in those countries inflicting them on the rest of us, but you should be under no illusion that it can not happen in other countries.
The last thing we should do is to fall into the trap and turn against "Americans", Brits. Direct your anger at those actually responsible and, if you are serious, work with those in any country, ready to dedicate themselves to build a better world, patiently, with determination and conviction.
This is my home, and seen from that perspective, I see no borders and any wall is insignificant.
