Thanks Reka.

I am looking for small firm tax preparer (or home business as tax preparer) as the big companies like PWC, KPMG, etc has not interest in handling individual personal return and charge alot.

if you have a job in switzerland, and are just declaring for one person and are not a home owner it is very straight forward. you can do it yourself in about 1 hour max. mine takes me 20 - 30 minutes, and i check everything twice.!!

only 2 forms to fill out. 1040 and 2555 EZ.

also the bank deposit declaration.

like Roger I do mine myself, but I did find this website in looking around.  http://www.1040.ch/

also keep in mind, depending on the State you were living in before you moved, you may still owe State income tax as well.

you either have to select itemized deductions ( after which you must always select this choice every year) or take the standard $86´000 deduction. don´t forget us tax declaration is made on gross revenue i.e before swiss deductions for AVS and private pensions and other insurances.
