US touristic purpose visa

hi,


I have applied for a touristic purpose US visa.  my appoinment is on 18 of october. my flight is on 5th of november.  do you think this period is enough to have a valid US visa?  is there anyone who applied for a US visa in switzerland Bern in the past?

Hi! Your passport arrives to your home in 3 to 5 days after your appointment, so you should be fine. I just went though the process a month ago.

Why do you need a VISA? Isn't an ESTA form sufficient?

Hi, the ESTA authorized travel only works if you have a biometric qualifying passport re waiver programme.
