Used Bike

I recently moved to Geneva and would really like to start biking again.  Unfortunately, I had to leave mine back at home in the States.  Is anyone here selling a bike, or know of someone who is?  If not, any suggestions for places that sell relatively inexpensive ones (~200 Euro)? I know if Go Sport in France and Sold in Carouge.

Thanks in advance :-)

For a brand new bike don't buy it in Switzerland - go to GOSport in Annemasse in the Etrambiere shopping center or Thoiry shopping center - you can get a decent bike for under €200 and then get a detax, etc.  I just bought 2 bikes from there for really reasonable prices.  And buy one of those solid metal U locks - the wire cable ones will just get cut or they use a master key - tonnes of bikes get stolen in Geneva !!!!

Just note that the French douane is not open after 18H00 so you have to either go during the day or pass the Bardonex border crossing.

Try Cycles Behar, it is shop near Conforama in Meyrin. If you buy something there don't forget to negociate the price, with them it is possible. http://www.cycles-behar.ch/

Otherwise try Peclot 13 at http://www.peclot13.ch/html/

@shaun123. good thought!

@Emily B .  More to say. Migros budget bikes have been added to Migros leisure bicycle assortment by Migros expert purchasers. That is the M-Bikes comply to strict manufacturing+weight+durability criteria...to name a few.

It is a mass manufactured product with light Migros personal touch. If you want to custom-made an M-bike you can do so with soray cans and add green or bleck stripes than you end up with your own Zebra bike which becomes unique   Wink
