I was dumped 3 days before Christmas. Unceremoniously. After 2 years. In a Starbucks. In Geneva.
I could be cynical and jaded (ahem...); but, why? What is the point? Valentine's is not just cards and roses and chocolate.
It's a holiday to celebrate love and to rekindle love and to be glad you have love and to hope for love. Is there really something *so bad* about that?
In a day and age when newspapers are splattered with pictures of red blood, are we really so upset about one day being dedicated to red cartoon-looking hearts?
I'm not.
PS- Happy Valentine's day, Charlie...the Meister of Glocals Forum.
