Visa for Non-EU (American)

Hello!  I am an American studying in Switzerland.  I am looking into the new visa rule that passed January 1, 2011 that states that students that graduate from a Swiss univeristy can apply for a 6 month job-seeker extension visa.  I graduate in December and my student visa expires a few weeks after that.  During the job seeking visa I can only work 15 hours a week until I find a job.  I have been offered a contract with a company but they couldn't do it first due to my visa expiring, then after finding out about the extension that I could only work 15 hours a week.  If they offer me the contract, can I work full-time for the length of the contract (which happens to be the same as the length of the job seeking visa-6 months)?  Anyone have any experience with this visa?  As it is such a new rule, many people that I ask don't know about it so I am hoping some expats have experience...any insight would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks!
