A surgeon in canton Valais has admitted to having watched three football matches while performing different operations.
Only one such slip-up had been reported when the case first came out last month.
The senior surgeon had notably fired another surgeon who had expressed doubts about his competence.
The Valais’ health authorities have now banned any non-job related use of computers in the operating room.
