Coop recalls bread in several cantons
Retailer Coop is recalling 800 loaves of bread, citing the possibility of metal shavings baked inside.
The recall goes for 600 loaves of 1 kilo store-brand dark-wheat loaves, and about 200 loaves of 280 gram Bio Chärne.
The recall affects stores mainly in the German-speaking cantons, including Appenzell, St Gallen, Thurgau, Schaffhausen and Zurich.
Coop said there had been no reports of injuries so far, and customers can bring in loaves for a refund.
