Wealthy men give women more orgasms
Jonathan Leake, Science and Environment Editor
Scientists have found that the pleasure women get from making love is directly linked to the size of their partner’s bank balance.
They found that the wealthier a man is, the more frequently his partner has orgasms.
“Women’s orgasm frequency increases with the income of their partner,” said Dr Thomas Pollet, the Newcastle University psychologist behind the research.
He believes the phenomenon is an “evolutionary adaptation” that is hard-wired into women, driving them to select men on the basis of their perceived quality.
The study is certain to prove controversial, suggesting that women are inherently programmed to be gold-diggers.
However, it fits into a wider body of research known as evolutionary psychology which suggests that both men and women are genetically predisposed to ruthlessly exploit each other to achieve the best chances of survival for their genes.
The female orgasm is the focus of much research because it appears to have no reproductive purpose. Women can become pregnant whatever their pleasure levels.
Pollet, and Professor Daniel Nettle, his co-author, believed, however, that the female orgasm is an evolutionary adaptation that drives women to choose and retain high-quality partners.
He and Nettle tested that idea using data gathered in one of the world’s biggest lifestyle studies. The Chinese Health and Family Life Survey targeted 5,000 people across China for in-depth interviews about their personal lives, including questions about their sex lives, income and other factors. Among these were 1,534 women with male partners whose data was the basis for the study.
They found that 121 of these women always had orgasms during sex, while 408 more had them “often”. Another 762 “sometimes” orgasmed while 243 had them rarely or never. Such figures are similar to those for western countries.
There were of course, several factors involved in such differences but, said Pollet, money was one of the main ones.
He said: “Increasing partner income had a highly positive effect on women’s self-reported frequency of orgasm. More desirable mates cause women to experience more orgasms.”
This is not an effect limited to Chinese women. Previous research in Germany and America has looked at attributes such as body symmetry and attractiveness, finding that these are also linked with orgasm frequency. Money, however, seems even more important.
David Buss, professor of psychology at the University of Texas, Austin, who raised this question in his book The Evolution of Desire believes female orgasms have several possible purposes.
“They could promote emotional bonding with a high-quality male or they could serve as a signal that women are highly sexually satisfied, and hence unlikely to seek sex with other men,” he said. “What those orgasms are saying is ‘I'm extremely loyal, so you should invest in me and my children’."

It took me years to convince my partner that my small dick doesn't matter. Now I'll also need to convince her that my small bank account doesn't matter (which I suspect will be a lot harder!)

interesting insight. so i guess if a woman fakes an orgasm, she must have had sex with a man you had a fake bank account. right, guys?

Interesting reply by J P Morgan to a " pretty lady's" query..............
A young and pretty lady posted this on a popular forum:
Title: What should I do to marry a rich guy?
I’m going to be honest of what I’m going to say here. I’m 25 this year. I’m very pretty, have style and good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above. You might say that I’m greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York. My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual
salary? Are you all married? I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you? Among those I’ve dated, the richest is $250k annual
income, and it seems that this is my upper limit. If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York City Garden
(?), $250k annual income is not enough.
I’m here humbly to ask a few questions:
1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names and
addresses of bars, restaurant, gym)
2) Which age group should I target?
3) Why most wives of the riches is only average-looking? I’ve met a few
girls who doesn’t have looks and are not interesting, but they are able to
marry rich guys
4) How do you decide who can be your wife, and who can only be your
girlfriend? (my target now is to get married)
Ms. Pretty

Here’s a reply from a Wall Street Financial guy:
Dear Ms. Pretty,
I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls
out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyze
your situation as a professional investor. My annual income is more than
$500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I’m
not wasting time here.
From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry
you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain. Put the details aside,
what you’re trying to do is an exchange of "beauty" and "money": Person A
provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square. However,
there’s a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not
be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from
year to year, but you can’t be prettier year after year. Hence from the
viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a
depreciation asset. It’s not just normal depreciation, but exponential
depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worried
10 years later
By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating
with you is also a "trading position". If the trade value dropped we will
sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term same goes with
the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order
to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be
sold or "leased". Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we
would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget
looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make
yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has a better chance than finding a rich fool.
Hope this reply helps. If you are interested in "leasing" services, do

Not that I agree with this woman at all, however I think many woman get more and more gorgeous as they age, depending if you take care of yourself. Also there is procedures you can do as well..and this must have been written before recession since this a**hole is clearly now both alone and broke! All in all, it shouldnt matter how much money he makes, or how pretty she is, its about how much you care about the other person!

I agree with you Prin, many women grow more and more gorgeous.
But this argument about rich men and what that does to women is also interesting. I did not read the article yet, just the excerpts in this thread but I have to say, at some point it seems that women love rebellion, but overall I am sure there is another point where security allows people to feel more free, women included.. I am guessing I will always have to just live on passion because money probably isn't going to be part the picture for me. I hope security doesn't only have to do with money.. OK I am off to read the article.
;) (most of the mags I read are just full of photos so this may take a while)

What did the guy making five million a year do for a living to earn that much? How old was he? did he take car of himself physically? Where did he live? Did he like to travel? Was he a person who enjoyed a busy nightlife and entertainment schedule? Was he a philanthropist? Why were you and he together providing you with the opportunity to form your opinion? How long were you with that guy? How did you meet the guy? Was it a personal relationship or just a sexual relationship? Did you and the guy share similar interests? Were you attracted to him for his looks, money, or charisma?
Hey tarun,
I think the JP morgan story is hilarious. I am wondering if he would consider the marriage for the value he considers is the life of the asset so he could actually invest rather than lease. That way he reduces risk of catastophic damages to his capital while being involved in too many high risk investments. By limiting his investment to one low risk venture he can actually prepare for the next investment he plans on carrying for the life of its value.

Hey Todd, what JP is saying is that marriage for beauty with money is not a fair deal, value proposition is not attractive anyways due to an inverse(ing) relationship of two ends, making leasing a preferred option over purchase. I agree with Prin, there need to be better reasons to marry somebody.
And for the second part, I like where you are going ... lease (if you can afford it) while you are looking for the right person (with right reasons) to marry.
A guy's gotta eat afterall...

You pretty much summed up all of the questions I was asking in your short answer.
I was guessing that the women who claimed to have more organsms based on being with rich men was probably a result of the overall experience with the rich guy.
the chemistry shared between the two, the main woman in his life, his financial ability to keep it new and exciting by offering new and constant exciting experiences, mutually agreed upon destinations to travel to, quality of accomdations and dinners, how many people acknowledge his power, how that power is relayed for the womans benefit, how involved the woman is in he man's interests, how the people who serve the rich guy treat the woman in his life, do they share tastes, do they share friends, the length of their relationship and nightly outings.
All of those things would contribute to a woman feeling that the interaction is fresh, new and exciting as well as fulfilling providing a scenario where the woman might experience an insatiable appetite for interaction with that man that may be more difficult to provide by a man of lesser means. When the sexual interaction is a small part of the overall life it is much easier for it be exciting.
In the doldrums of the average relationship their sexual interaction is pretty much the main course for entertainment on a nightly basis. that can end up being a pretty big role to fill for any one activity.

And BTW, the woman may have better orgasms with her partner not because he's wealthy, but because he is more self confident and in a comfortable environment. It's so much nicer to make love in satin sheets of a five stars hotel than in the back of an old and stinky car... (though kinky situation can be a turn-on too)
