Website creation issues: offshore developers.

I want to create a website with a lot of interactive features, and I was thinking about contacting offshore companies/freelancers.
I would like to know how risky is this solution, and possibly how to overcome these risks.
have you (or your company) ever worked with these offshore companies/freelancers?
is there an offshore programmer you know well for his competence in designing social networking websites?
is there a part of the programming you think I can do by myself with a very basic knowledge?

I haven't worked with offshore programmers / freelancers, but since you're the one paying, it seems like there is little risk....


But, why look elsewhere? I'm sure that you could find dozens or more people on glocals alone! I can help you. Hellsbells does sites. Daleesha and Vincent C, too.


What kind of site do you want to develop? What kind of interactive features? Programming - have you programmed before? I mean, do you understand variables, conditional statements, loops, arrays, functions, etc. If so, then, yes, you can learn PHP (for example) pretty quickly. I can help you with it, too.


If you'd like, come to my free Computer Support group on Monday at noon. We can talk about it.

It is really depends on what you want to do with this website,
If it's a normal website I would not go to any company to design it, I would get help from some of your glocal friends and maintain it yourself, I did couple of website my self please take a look,

This is just simple design even though you can place the orders which is not really simple, I only used some php, CSS and HTML programing.


Used dreamweaver CS4 and some text editors such as Edit plus and Of coz Photoshop for the pictures. This is so easy to learn if you have time.

It wasn't too hard for me because I've got degree in Multimedia and internet Tech. but unfortunately I don't work in this field because I found that the trading was mor interesting so I switched ☺

you are right: compared to what I want, tt-prestige.com is simple. I thinking about a complex system (I guess) with tenth and possibly more than 100 pages, able to support a lot of videos, pictures and real time conversations. I guess it can be a full time job, not just a hLaughingbby
