Hi, just wondering if we need to give wedding favors to our guests? It's a custom back home but not sure whether it's the same here...
Anyone knows any wedding favor ideaa? Thanks in advance!

no, you don't have to, it's not a custom here!
I would say that you should follow the customs that make you happy. In Italy it is a custom to provide symbolic offerings to your guests (even those absent from the wedding). Geneva is so diverse culturally, so I would suspect that people would appreciate the offer if it is explained.
If you are worried about adding cost then as Taffi suggested it would not be an issue.
Congratulations by the way

I know that in neighbouring France there is the custom to give candies in a little organza bag to all guests. This "present" was placed above the plates, so that everyone could be sure to get one.
But I have no clue, whether this tradition also exists in French speaking Switzerland....
Simply do what you want to do. If there is a tradition that some guests might not know, explain it briefly before or afterwards. That's what my friends did when they got married (French-Japanese, French-German). People were always very interested in those things.
This will be YOUR day, so do what you would like to do.
