What to do in Bern?

I tried to post this under the Bern-forum thread, but obviously there isn't much activity so I try here instead.

I'll be in Bern tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday. Except from the Middle Age part of the town, does anybody have recommendations of what to see/do?

Recommendations of nice nightclubs/restaurants/shops are also welcome.

well, assuming it is a nice day you can go for a walk along the river. I like the microbrewery/restaurant that's just up to where they keep the bears, if you can stand the sight of animals that normally roam for hundreds of kms closed off in a 100 mt long stretch.

And Sat is a market day, so that's nice too.

The Paul Klee Zentrum has been built by one of my favourite architects, Renzo Piano, I would go just to see the building :o) I am not sure what kind of exhibitions they have on right now.

Also, I love the Botanical Gardens.

Have a look here as well  http://www.berninfo.com/en/index.cfm

Have fun!

Oh, and I forgot the Orangerie! Lots of greenery, a couple of interesting greenhouses, some small exhibitions usually happening in some of the buildings.

My favourite restaurant in Berne was the Metzgerstübli on Münstergasse 60.  Haven't been there in a year though.
