After a long search and after declining several other options, I have found an apartment in Gland and will move there soon.
Some people say Gland is a "dormitory town". I wonder if there is a pub, a bar, or café where to have a drink some times. How about restaurants? Do people go out and stay in Gland?Is it possible to meet people? how about Glocals in Gland?
I will apreciate your comments and advice.

I live here alredy 1 year.. first few month i was really boring here,but then i met a lots of new friends from glocals and now life is very active!

Hey, I also moved this month to Perroy which is a nearby village,even smaller than gland :))) The advantages are: peace, good train connection, beautiful views, supermarkets, banks, post office,close to shopping centres and friendly people.It is 5 min away from Nyon where you can resume your social life.

I've been in Gland for almost two years and have never been bored! Its hard to believe for some ppl :)
Maybe we should meet up at the Bull's pub sometime! If not, you always can end up in Nyon or Lausanne for that matter.
