Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can suggest where to buy carpets please. I'm talking about full on wall-to wall covering not just rugs.
Has anyone had any experiences either in Switzerland or over in France?
Thanks

There's a carpet shop over near the Rue de la Synagogue, not on that but near it... Near a club with snooker tables.
I know because last time i stayed in the Hotel Tiffany, i stood on the balcony with my wife and said -- Oh cool, lets go for some "Tapas" later.. We got ready and went out to find "Tapis"

Price also depends on quality carpet you are after. If you wish to install in a bedroom you may choose low priced one if you are renting.
Assume it could be in entrance hall and/or living-room better invest with "intensive use" quality or T4 as a low quality will wear out very fast.
You might be interested to know that as a tenant if when you moved in 5 years ago your wall to wall carpet was already worn and in average shape at move-in time, then you might ask for replacement by owner and pay very little or even nothing.
Fluffy type wall-to-wall carpets are not easily available in nearby France and Switzerland but you might find good deals in Belgium or UK

Thank you for the suggestions.
Had a look at Saint Maclou over in France at the weekend and they actually had a very wide selection.
Thanks again.
