Where to watch World Cup in Geneva?

Any recommendations for good places to watch the World Cup?

Any places to avoid?

Just looking for a fun, convivial atmosphere to watch any/all games, not for any particular match.

Ha - yes, that's exactly what I was afraid of!  I'm looking for the best choice. :)

Well, keep in mind that you can either go for the big screens (this time, i think it`ll be 2 in geneva: at vernets and la praille) or the several pubs/bars (pickwick, clubhouse, endless list). Depends on how big the crowd you want to be in :)

Charly O'Neills is showing all the matches - TVs inside and out on the terrace. Great food & beer promotions. It's got a great atmosphere!

Clubhouse in Paquis is pretty nice as well.

Charly O'Neill's is near the top of rue de la servette, not too far from the UN

for a simple pub that feels cosy to drink in - spring brothers.

for the same but with food thrown in - pickwicks or the clubhouse (but get there real early to bag a table).

Hi, if anyone fancies a change from the usual drinking holes, we run a bar (just round the corner from Clubhouse) in Paquis. Its called Bar Zen, we are quite new and would love it to be a bolt hole for glocals.

So, if you fancy trying somewhere new to watch the football and have a drink, give Bar Zen a try. Ask for Dean.

Check Bars under the Guides (reviews) tab.

Cheers
