It depends how far you want to go. We have a fantastic restaurant in our village in Sezenove. You can get the bus L to the village if you do not have a car.

Believe it or not but the Chavannes Hotel at the Divonne exit onthe motorway has a nice restaurant and terrace that my folks love. And I must admit, I quite like the food too.

We had our anniversary at Le Floris: we loved it there! They have a beautiful panoramic
terrace and the food was great. You can choose their prefix menu or a la carte. It's a
gastronomic restaurant. We were at their bistro, which has more choices for lunch. If it's
sunny, it will be fantastic! check it out www.lefloris.com
Le Petit Lac is
another place, but i can't tell you how is the food.

Also
, you might want to take her out for a typical Swiss brunch at a farm: we loved it in summer at
Ferme de Merlinge. www.fermedemerlinge.ch/brunch.html
By the
way, all of those places are easily reachable by bus, in case you don't have a
car.
Enjoy!

When my mum visited, I took her to things she had not done as a grandpa in ever soo many years. Now at 78, she just would not go anywhere. So I surprised her. I would suggest you look for theatre plays that are own, there is an english drama society. The best food I have had in Geneva was actually at the Auberge de Onex, but it is 100chf approx per head but it is the best, they really take care of your needs.
Hermance can be quite anice quaint place, I think alot of the ideas above are excellent too.

My recommendation is l'auberge d'Hermance (http://www.hotel-hermance.ch/en/history.php). I went there for lunch with my mother once, and the food was excellent and the atmosphere really nice and cosy. Hermance is a pretty village as well, so it's a nice place for a post-lunch walk too. You can get there by local buses that leave from Rive.
