What do you folks think about it?? Last year we had a great death by choccolate party for valentine .. and this year, since I am need to get rid of the gosth of past Valentine's .. i was thinking about organizing a BIG 'Who cares about Valentine's party'.
Theme and Location to be decided. I am up for taking care of the organization and stuff ... just sensing if GOLers would be up for it, and if there's any theme idea ...

R u saying that the best option would be getting a bf in the meantime so I can celebrate Valentine? or that organizing a party is the best way to get a Bf??
I completely aware that GOL is not a dating site .. and from experience i can say .. it shouldn't be :p better avoiding dating on GOL.
This said .. I still wanna organize a Single and Fabulous party ... unless of course no one is interested or everyone is coupled ...
Vale.
P.S. I think i made a typo, I meant the ghosts of past Valentines (Plural!!)

what I meant for Singles was ... a Non Overly Romantic Valentine's party.
Where Singles will be welcome as much as couple and the most important thing is being with loved ones (friend or more then friends) and feel good and gorgeous no matter what ur dating situation is.
So that couples can have a good time, and single .. can feel loved and with friends and not left out in the overly romantic atmospere of Valentine's day.
So .. no worries it won't be a single event as such. Just a party on Valentine's day which won't be about Love and Valentine, but being Fabolous.
Theme of the party: Be Gorgeous and Faboulous. Dress code: what makes you feel gorgeous (longd dress, short skirt, whatever as long as u feel ur best self).
What do you think???

personally i was hoping for more of a goth feel. like a 'love is dead' theme, with lots of angst (let's listen to the cure and write bad poetry!), black crushed velvet, runny eyemake up and ripped fishnets. oh, and chocolate. lots of chocolate.
but 'fabulous' will work too ;)

but I have always HATED Valentine's day! The best ones I have ever had were at anti-valentines parties....good times :) I even ditched boyfriends to attend them.
However, can't really ditch Billy but if you plan this thing, we're there.....
