Would you suggest a new forum? Something like... "let's talk about GoLers"? or "News about us"? or...
I'm not sure it would be a good idea. After all the more serious forums (who reminds "World affairs"? got short luck and the general forum is now over all dedicate to jokes. Why not joke about and among ourselves? it can also be a way to introduce the oldies to the newbies. After reading these threads (into wich everybody's welcome) I hope they'll feel more confident they'll know some more faces, next time they come to an activity. hu?

and third, I don't think Tinkie was referring to any Italian origins, she was talking about the impression that some newbies have that there is a clique, a sort of private club within GoL of more active people (whatever their origins).
People: there is no clique! There are only more active and less active members, and several groups of people who get along more often based on common interests: going out with the kids, ... the drinking wednesdays, ... rollerblading, ... philosofical dinners... or even just the preferred bars or discoteques... as it normally happens that people gather together around common interests or tastes... Anybody is welcome to join any group of friends and to launch discussions (more or less serious) on Nir's face, for example! :-P

Tinkie, if you want to be picky on terms... technically speaking, this forum IS private allready. GOL members only can post here. Any and every member btw. Is it anyone's fault if some are less active than others ? Is it a crime to share some fun with friends ? Isn't it the website goal at the end of the day, making or sometimes painfull and boring days a little bit more fun and enjoyable ?
